River Oaks Pizza – Authentic Italian Flavors & Family-Friendly Dining in Myrtle Beach

My family and I have been here several times and have enjoyed our meals. We love the atmosphere, with its small space yet loud personality when busy. Today my folks asked where we could eat and we suggested River Oaks and they enjoyed it very much. My daughter said we must give Sarah a rave review for her great service and friendly demeanor. My daughter is correct and Sarah deserves the recognition, she made us feel welcomed and was attentive. The bartender, I don't know his name, engaged my son and put on the football game he wanted to watch just by seeing his jersey. An unnecessary but awesome attention to detail and customer service. This is how you get families back, your people. Well done.

River Oaks Pizzeria has impressed time and again. Walking in will transport you to a fine Italian restaurant! The staff and management are kind and welcoming, quick to accommodate your party's needs. The food has been fantastic every time my wife and I have had the pleasure of dining in this establishment. Every dish we have tried has been better than the next. Whether it's pizza, eggplant, or lasagna, I highly recommend River Oaks for a high-class Italian experience!

We was told we have to try the pizza here at ROP and how good it was. And man were they not wrong. It was down right amazing!! The Vodka Margarita Pizza is to die for. I really think Dave Portnoy would give it an 9.3-9.4. The undercarriage is perfection. And the flavor of this pizza is like something I have never tasted before, and I am old. The staff and service were amazing. 9.9 of 10. Our waitress Taylor was fantastic.!! We did not have to ask for a thing. As she was on top of everything. She had tables inside and out and we did not need or want for anything. The VM pizza was so good, we went back the next day and bought 2 of them to take home 5hrs away. We highly recommend ROP @ Carolina Forest. And ask for Taylor. You wont regret it!

I've been wanting to try this place out.. I usually eat out during lunch time and not long ago they added the lunch hours which is great. I finally stopped in today to try them out and I wasn't sure what to get since they have such a nice variety of options. Nicole took care of me with great service and suggestions. I went with the Bucci sandwich and fries.. then got a large pizza to go. Half Fig n Goat Cheese and half Truffle mushrooms.. Everything was outstanding and I cant wait to stop in to try more.

Great food and cocktails! My husband and I stopped by on our vacation. My meatballs were the size of my fist! My only complaint was when we came in, there was no line and a few tables inside and also outside still available but when the waitress asked if we had a reservation and we said no, she was a bit rude like we should know it's reservation only. We said we don't mind sitting outside if that is easier and she finally after much thought, handed us our menus and gestured towards outside. We sat ourselves. There were two tables so we picked the two person one to be considerate of larger parties (that is actually the hostess job). It was a bit disappointing to be treated that way. Only two more small parties came the entire time we were there and were sat right away. Maybe they should post rules on the door that if you've never been there, they prefer you have reservations for better service. Our waitress though was great! Still five stars but that hostess needs some training, she seemed to struggle with a non-reservation table coming in to be sat like it threw off her flow a bit and she came off as snotty when we said we don't have a reservation, but maybe she was just trying to problem solve.

We, a group of 11 went in at 9pm. They informed us they can only serve pizza as other chef already left for the day. It started with big disappointment, however their pizza compensated disappointment into happy experience. The place has welcoming vibes! Our server was really good. We ordered 5 large pizza, each different flavor. All of them were delicious. Those are one of a kind pizza that I didn’t try anywhere else. We and our kids enjoyed these pizza so much that we decided to visit them again following day before heading back from our vacation. MUST TRY!

River Oaks Pizzeria is a must-visit if you're craving good pizza. My server was Megan. She was great!! had an answer for every question and gave recommendations perfect for us. She’s the kind of server who makes you feel instantly welcome, and checks in at the perfect time. She genuinely made our night better. Food’s incredible, good vibes, and the service made us want to come back. Highly recommend. Ask for Megan!
